A New Job, Marked Properly

One chapter closing, another opening, and a room that suits both halves of the evening.

Starting a new job usually generates two separate evenings: the goodbye to the old colleagues and the celebration with the people who actually know you. They have different moods. The first is nostalgic and slightly awkward; the second is genuinely happy and tends to run later.

White Chocolate works for both. Six private salons in a vaulted Old Town cellar, low gold light, and enough separation between rooms that a group can be sentimental or celebratory without an audience. It is a discreet venue by design, which suits an occasion that sometimes involves saying what you actually thought of the old place.

The Leaving Do

Office leaving drinks fail for a predictable reason: they happen at six in a crowded bar, and by seven the group has thinned to the four people who were always going to stay. Booking a salon for a set time changes the shape of the evening. People arrive knowing where they are going and stay because they are comfortable.

It also gives the speeches somewhere to happen that is not the middle of a busy pub.

The Actual Celebration

The second evening, with close friends rather than colleagues, is the one worth spending properly. A new job is a genuine milestone and it deserves more than a repeat of the leaving drinks in a different postcode.

Practical Details

We are open nightly from 20:00, closing between 03:00 and 05:00 depending on the day of the week. Dress code is smart, which office clothes satisfy without adjustment.

Call ahead with the headcount, especially if the group is larger than six or the date falls on a weekend.

Frequently asked questions

Can we book for a work leaving do?

Yes, it is a common booking. A private salon gives the group a fixed base for the evening, which works far better than trying to hold a corner of a busy bar.

What group size works best?

Anything from four to around twenty. We have six salons of different sizes, so tell us the number when you call and we will match the room to the group.

Can we come straight from the office?

Yes. Our dress code is smart and office clothing meets it comfortably. We open at 20:00, so there is usually time to eat first if you want.

Is it quiet enough for speeches?

The salons are considerably quieter than the main room, which makes a short speech or toast entirely workable. Mention it when booking and we will seat you accordingly.

How do we reserve?

Call +48 534 506 899. We are at ul. Św. Tomasza 16 in Krakow's Old Town, open nightly from 20:00, strictly 18+.
