Old Town or Kazimierz - where to go tonight?

Two districts, two personalities after dark. Here is how to choose - and how to combine them.

Everyone planning a night out in Krakow faces the same choice: the atmospheric haunts of Kazimierz or the elegant venues of the Old Town? The truth is you do not have to choose - the two are fifteen minutes apart on foot, and the best evenings often start in one and end in the other.

We represent the Old Town side of the argument: White Chocolate is an exclusive, intimate night club in the cellars at ul. Św. Tomasza 16, two minutes from the Main Square. The Sweet Secret for the end of the night - wherever you begin it. 18+.

Kazimierz - bohemia and buzz

Kazimierz is a maze of bars, candle-lit courtyards and live music. A brilliant place to start the evening: dinner, first drinks, the hum of plac Nowy. The mood is loose, artistic and loud.

The downside? After midnight it gets crowded and seats are scarce. When you are ready to change gears to something more exclusive, head towards the Planty ring.

Old Town - the night with class

The Old Town after dark means floodlit townhouses, high-end restaurants and venues hidden in cellars. This is where an evening gains character - less randomness, more style.

White Chocolate is a case in point: polished interiors, shows by performers in our white chocolate aesthetic, private salons and a bar of signature cocktails. The finale in full glamour.

The best plan: combine both

A proven itinerary: dinner and first drinks in Kazimierz, a walk towards the Square, and from 22:00-23:00 the second half of the night beneath the Old Town. Fifteen minutes on foot is all it takes to change the mood completely.

On weekends we run until 5:00 - however late you start, the night does not end early here.

Frequently asked questions

Which district should a first-time visitor pick?

Ideally both: Kazimierz for dinner and early drinks, the Old Town for an elegant finale. They are only a fifteen-minute walk apart.

How do I get from Kazimierz to White Chocolate?

A 15-20 minute walk via Starowiślna or Stradomska towards the Square, then to ul. Św. Tomasza 16. By taxi it is 5 minutes.

Which area is better for a stag or hen night?

Kazimierz makes a great start, but a finale with class belongs to the Old Town - ideally in one of our private salons.

Is the club open on weekdays?

Yes, nightly from 20:00. Until 3:00 on weekdays, 4:00 on Thursdays, 5:00 on Fridays and Saturdays.

What is the age policy?

Strictly 18+. Photo ID may be required at the door.
