Nightlife is generally designed with groups in mind, and a couple arriving at a typical club tends to feel it. There is nowhere comfortable to sit, the music makes conversation impossible, and the evening becomes something you endure side by side rather than share.
White Chocolate was built the other way around. It is an intimate cellar under the Old Town with six private salons, seating that is genuinely comfortable, and a sound level that leaves room for talking. Two people can spend an entire evening here without once having to lean in and shout.
Designed for Sitting Down
The layout assumes people want to stay put rather than circulate. White leather banquettes, low tables, and salons separated from the main room. For a couple, that turns a night out into something closer to a long dinner with better lighting.
It also means you are not defending a position at the bar all evening, which is most of what a couple does in a busy venue.
Atmosphere Without Effort
Vaulted brick, Edison bulbs, white leather and black velvet under warm gold light. It is a flattering room, which matters more on a date than most people admit. Nobody has to work at making the evening feel like an occasion because the setting is already doing it.
Occasions and Ordinary Nights
Couples book here for anniversaries, birthdays and Valentine's Day, but a good proportion of our couple bookings are for no reason at all, which is arguably the better use of it.
We open nightly at 20:00. Midweek is quieter and more intimate; weekends have more energy. Both work, and it is worth deciding which you want before you call.

Is a club like this odd for just two people?
Not at all. A significant share of our bookings are couples. The venue is seated and intimate rather than crowd-driven, so two people fit into it naturally.
Can we book a private salon for two?
Our smaller salons suit couples well. Call and tell us it is two of you and we will suggest the right space rather than putting you in a room built for twelve.
Is it quiet enough to talk?
Yes. The salons are separated from the main room and the sound level is conversational. It is one of the main reasons couples choose us.
Which nights are best for a couple?
Midweek, Sunday to Wednesday, is calmer and more intimate. Friday and Saturday have considerably more energy and run until 05:00. Both work depending on the evening you want.
