Krakow runs more pub crawls than almost any city in this part of Europe, and they follow a predictable arc. A meeting point somewhere off the Rynek, three or four bars in quick succession, a great deal of noise, and then the group is deposited at a large club somewhere around one in the morning and left to its own devices.
That last stage is where most crawls fall apart. White Chocolate is a useful answer to it: a small cellar club a few streets from the Square, open until 05:00 on Fridays and Saturdays, with six private salons and enough quiet that a group can actually regroup rather than lose each other in a crowd.
A Change of Pace
By the time a crawl finishes, most people have had enough of standing up and shouting. The appeal of a seated salon in a warm, low-lit room at that hour is considerable. It is a shift in gear rather than more of the same.
It also keeps the group together, which is the single most common thing a pub crawl fails at after midnight.
Still Open When the Crawl Ends
We open at 20:00 and run to 05:00 on Fridays and Saturdays, 04:00 on Thursdays. A crawl that winds down around one still leaves three or four hours, which is more than enough for the part of the night people actually remember.
Arriving as a Group
A word of warning: arriving unannounced with fifteen people at half past one is not a reliable plan anywhere, and this is an intimate venue with a fixed number of seats. Call earlier in the evening, or ideally earlier in the week, and we will have a salon held.
We are also a smart-dress venue. Crawl groups are welcome, but the dress code still applies at the door.

Do you host organised pub crawls?
We are not a crawl stop, and large unbooked groups arriving late are difficult for a venue this size. We are very well suited as a final destination for a group that has booked ahead.
How late can we arrive?
The kitchen of the night runs long here. Fridays and Saturdays we are open until 05:00, Thursdays until 04:00 and other nights until 03:00, so a late arrival is entirely normal.
Will you take a group of fifteen at 1am?
Only if you have called ahead. We have six salons and a fixed capacity, and late unbooked groups of that size are often turned away simply because there is nowhere to put them.
Is there a dress code even late at night?
Yes, and it applies at the door regardless of the hour. Smart dress, no sportswear or trainers. This catches out crawl groups occasionally, so it is worth mentioning to everyone before you set off.
Where are you relative to the usual crawl route?
Very close. We are at ul. Św. Tomasza 16, a few streets from the Main Market Square where most Krakow crawls begin and end. Easy walking distance.
