Floriańska runs from the Floriańska Gate down to the Main Market Square and is, on most evenings, the single busiest street in Krakow's Old Town. It is the main pedestrian artery, lined with bars, restaurants and shops, and by ten on a Saturday it is effectively a slow-moving crowd.
White Chocolate is just off it. Ul. Św. Tomasza crosses Floriańska, and we are at number 16 - close enough that the street is your landmark, far enough that the noise is not your problem. One floor down, behind a discreet entrance, in a vaulted brick cellar.
Near the Artery, Off the Crowd
The value of being one street removed from Floriańska is considerable. You keep the convenience - everybody knows where Floriańska is, and it is the natural route from the Barbican to the Square - without inheriting the crush.
Groups routinely use Floriańska as the meeting point and walk the last thirty seconds to us.
A Different Kind of Venue
The bars along Floriańska itself are largely built for volume and turnover, which is a legitimate business and not what we do. Six private salons, seated, with a fixed capacity, is close to the opposite model.
If Floriańska on a Saturday is the version of Krakow nightlife you want to avoid, that is more or less the reason this place exists.
Getting Here
From the Main Market Square, walk up Floriańska toward the gate and turn onto Św. Tomasza. From the Barbakan, come through the gate and down. Either way it is a matter of a few minutes.
