Company anniversaries are strange occasions to plan. They are genuinely significant to the people who built the business and easy to render meaningless with the wrong execution. The default option - a function room, a buffet, a projector - manages to make a real milestone feel like a quarterly review.
An evening in a private salon beneath the Old Town does the opposite. White Chocolate is a small, exclusive club: vaulted brick, white leather, black velvet and gold light, with six salons that can be reserved for a group. It feels like a reward rather than an obligation, which for a milestone year is the entire point.
Distinct From the Christmas Party
Most companies already have an annual event, and an anniversary that feels like a repeat of it wastes the occasion. The difference here is the setting: a discreet cellar bar rather than a hotel function room, and salons rather than rows of tables.
The result reads as something chosen rather than booked out of habit.
Room for Speeches and for Talking
An anniversary generally involves someone saying a few words about how it all started. That needs a room quiet enough to be heard in, which a salon provides and an open bar does not.
After that the evening becomes conversational, and the seated layout keeps it that way rather than fragmenting the group.
Planning the Evening
Call with the headcount and date. For larger companies we can look at more than one salon. Autumn and December are our busiest stretches, so a milestone falling in those months is worth arranging early.
We are open nightly from 20:00, 18+, and located in the Old Town within walking distance of central hotels.
Frequently asked questions
How large a group can you take for a company event?
A single salon comfortably holds up to around twenty. Larger groups can sometimes take more than one salon - call and we will work out what is realistic for your numbers and date.
Can we make speeches or presentations?
Short speeches and toasts work well in a private salon. We are not set up for presentations with screens and projectors, so the formal part is better handled earlier in the day.
Is it suitable for inviting clients as well as staff?
Yes, it is a common reason companies choose us. The venue is discreet and distinctive, which makes it a comfortable place to bring clients.
When should we book?
As early as you can for autumn or December dates, which are our busiest. Midweek and outside those months, a week or two is usually sufficient.
Where are you located?
ul. Św. Tomasza 16, 31-183 Kraków, in the Old Town near the Main Market Square, walking distance from most central hotels. Adults only.
