After the Closing Keynote

Everyone exchanged business cards in the corridor. The conversations that matter happen later.

Krakow has become a serious conference city. Between ICE Kraków, the university venues and a long list of hotels with function space, there is a steady flow of professional events through the year, and every one of them produces the same evening: delegates released at six with nowhere in particular to go.

White Chocolate is a sensible answer. A vaulted cellar in the Old Town, six private salons, and an atmosphere quiet enough that a conversation started at the conference can actually be continued. It is walkable from most central hotels and a short ride from the larger venues.

Quiet Enough to Talk Business

The failure mode of a conference evening is a venue so loud that networking becomes shouting. Nothing useful survives that. Our salons are separated and the sound level is conversational, which means the follow-up discussion actually happens.

It also means international delegates can hear each other across accents, which matters more than people expect.

For Organisers and for Delegates

We take both kinds of booking: organisers reserving a salon as an official evening for a delegation, and small groups of delegates who have decided the official programme has run its course.

For an organised group, call ahead with numbers. For a spontaneous group of four or five, calling on the night is usually enough midweek.

Location and Timing

We are at ul. Św. Tomasza 16 in the Old Town, close to the Main Market Square and within walking distance of most central conference hotels. Doors open at 20:00, which fits neatly after a conference dinner.

Our staff speak English, which for an international delegation removes a small but real friction.

Frequently asked questions

Are you near ICE Kraków and the main conference hotels?

We are in the Old Town, walking distance from most central hotels and a short taxi ride from ICE Kraków across the river. See our page on clubs near ICE for detail.

Do your staff speak English?

Yes. We take a substantial number of international guests and English is spoken throughout the venue.

Can an organiser book a salon for a delegation?

Yes. Call with the headcount, date and expected arrival time and we will hold an appropriate salon. This is a regular booking for us during conference season.

What time should a conference group arrive?

We open at 20:00. Most conference groups arrive between 21:00 and 23:00, typically after a dinner, and stay until closing.

Is the dress code compatible with business clothing?

Perfectly. Our dress code is smart and conference attire is ideal. No change of clothes needed.
