The last night of a trip carries a particular weight. You have seen the Rynek, been up the Wawel hill, eaten well and walked a great deal. What is left is the desire to finish on something that feels like a proper ending rather than another bar you picked because it was open.
White Chocolate is a good closing chapter. A vaulted brick cellar beneath the Old Town, reached by stone stairs behind a discreet door, with six private salons, white leather and warm gold light. It is the kind of place people describe to friends afterwards, largely because it is not the sort of place you find by accident.
Somewhere You Would Not Have Found
Most visitors spend their evenings within fifty metres of the Main Market Square, which is understandable and also means they see the same three or four venues as everyone else. Being a few streets away and one floor down puts us slightly outside that circuit.
The unmarked entrance is a genuine feature. Walking down into a room you would never have guessed was there is most of the appeal.
Late Enough to Do It Properly
Fridays and Saturdays we run to 05:00, Thursdays to 04:00. If your last night falls at the weekend, there is no structural reason for the evening to end early.
If you have an early flight, that is your own affair. We have seen it go both ways.
Booking Before You Arrive
Because we are small, the last night of your trip and the busiest night of our week can easily collide. Call ahead, even a couple of days, and the problem disappears.
English is spoken throughout and we are at ul. Św. Tomasza 16, an easy walk from most Old Town hotels.

Is it easy to find?
It is deliberately discreet - an unmarked entrance and stone stairs down to the cellar - but it is centrally located at ul. Św. Tomasza 16, a few streets from the Main Market Square. Most people find it easily with a map.
Do we need to book for our last night?
We recommend it, especially at weekends. We are a small venue with a fixed number of seats and we do fill up. A call a day or two ahead is usually enough.
Do you speak English?
Yes, throughout the venue. A large share of our guests are visitors to Krakow.
How late are you open?
From 20:00 nightly. Closing is 03:00 Sunday to Wednesday, 04:00 Thursday and 05:00 Friday and Saturday.
Is there a dress code?
Yes, smart. No sportswear, trainers or beachwear. Worth knowing before you pack for the trip if this is on your list.
