Entry Rules, Stated Plainly

Everything the door will check, written down before you walk down the stairs.

Being turned away is a bad end to an evening, and it is nearly always avoidable. Most refusals happen because somebody did not know a rule rather than because they broke one deliberately, which is a failure of communication rather than behaviour.

So here is the whole set, plainly. White Chocolate is a small cellar club at ul. Św. Tomasza 16 in Krakow's Old Town, and these are the conditions of entry.

The Two Rules That Matter Most

First, we are strictly 18 and over. There are no exceptions, and photographic identification may be requested at the door regardless of how old you look.

Second, the dress code is smart. No sportswear, tracksuits, trainers, shorts, beachwear or football shirts. This is applied at the door at every hour of the night, including at two in the morning when a group arrives from somewhere with no dress code at all.

Groups and Reservations

We are a small venue with six private salons and a fixed number of seats. Large groups arriving unannounced are frequently turned away simply because there is nowhere to put them, which is not a judgement on the group.

If there are more than a few of you, call ahead. It is the difference between being expected and being an unsolvable seating problem at midnight.

Condition and Conduct

Guests who are visibly intoxicated on arrival will not be admitted. This is a legal obligation as well as a house rule, and it applies to whole groups where relevant.

Beyond that the expectations are ordinary: courtesy toward staff and other guests, and respect for the privacy of people in other salons. Management reserves the right to refuse entry.

Frequently asked questions

What is the minimum age?

18. It is strictly enforced and identification may be requested at the door regardless of appearance. There are no exceptions.

What clothing is not allowed?

Sportswear, tracksuits, trainers, shorts, beachwear and football shirts. The dress code is smart and it is applied at the door at all hours.

Will a large group be admitted without booking?

Often not, simply because a venue this size has nowhere to seat a large unannounced group. Call ahead and the problem disappears.

Can we be refused entry for being drunk?

Yes. Guests who are visibly intoxicated on arrival will not be admitted. This is a legal requirement as well as our own policy.

Do you take walk-ins at all?

Yes, subject to space, and midweek it is usually fine. At weekends the venue fills and a reservation is much safer.

No surprises at the door

Call ahead, know the rules, and walk straight in.
