The Polish calendar is generous with long weekends. Between majówka in early May, Corpus Christi in June, Assumption in August, All Saints at the start of November and Independence Day on 11 November, there are several points in the year when a public holiday lands close enough to a weekend to produce three or four consecutive days off.
Krakow absorbs a large share of that traffic. The Old Town fills, the popular bars reach capacity early, and spontaneity stops working as a strategy. White Chocolate is a small cellar club with a fixed number of seats and six private salons, which makes it exactly the sort of place worth reserving before you arrive.
Why Booking Matters More
On an ordinary Tuesday you can walk in and we will usually find you a table. On the Saturday of a long weekend that is a considerably worse bet. The venue is intimate by design, which is the whole appeal, and it also means we run out of room earlier than a large club would.
A phone call a few days ahead removes the entire problem.
A Quieter Room in a Loud City
Long weekends bring visitors, and visitors concentrate on the Main Market Square. Being a few streets away and one floor down changes the experience considerably. You get the convenience of the Old Town without standing shoulder to shoulder in it.
For groups this matters more than for couples. A reserved salon means the group stays together instead of fragmenting across a crowded room.
Making the Most of the Extra Days
With no work the following morning, long weekend evenings run late. Friday and Saturday we are open until 05:00, and Thursday to 04:00, which covers most of the bridging days these weekends tend to produce.
Groups typically arrive later and stay longer than on a normal weekend, so a salon earns its keep.

Our opening hours follow the normal weekly pattern regardless of holidays: from 20:00 nightly, closing 03:00, 04:00 or 05:00 depending on the day of the week.
What if we have not booked?
Call anyway. We keep some flexibility and will fit you in if we can, but on a long weekend we cannot promise it. Booking is always the safer route.
