Opening hours are simple to state and slightly less simple to use well. Knowing that a venue is open until five in the morning tells you nothing about when it is worth being there, which is usually the thing people actually want to know.

So here are both: the hours themselves, and an honest account of how an evening at White Chocolate tends to unfold.

The Hours

We open at 20:00 every night of the week. Closing is 03:00 from Sunday to Wednesday, 04:00 on Thursday, and 05:00 on Friday and Saturday. Last call is thirty minutes before closing.

These hours apply year round and do not change for public holidays. For specific dates around Christmas and New Year it is worth calling to confirm.

When the Room Is at Its Best

Between 20:00 and about 21:30 the venue is quiet. That is genuinely pleasant if you want a conversation and want to settle in before it fills, and it is the easiest time to arrive without a reservation.

From around 22:00 the room comes into its own, and it stays that way until late. Most groups arrive between 21:00 and 23:00.

Arriving Late

Late arrivals are entirely normal, particularly at weekends when we run to 05:00. Groups coming from a restaurant, an event or another venue often reach us after midnight.

The one caveat is space. If you are arriving late without a reservation on a Friday or Saturday, you are relying on there being room. A phone call earlier in the evening removes the uncertainty.
