The Nights That Get Their Own Treatment

A vaulted cellar needs very little decorating. Some dates still earn it.

The Polish calendar has a handful of nights that are genuinely different from an ordinary evening, and a venue that ignores them is missing the point of them. Andrzejki, carnival season, Halloween, New Year's Eve and a few others carry their own atmosphere before anyone does anything at all.

White Chocolate leans into those rather than inventing themes for their own sake. The cellar is already a brick-vaulted, candlelit room, so the approach is to work with what a date already brings rather than dress the place up as something it is not.

The Dates That Matter

Andrzejki on 29 November, the last night before Advent and traditionally an evening of fortune telling. Carnival from Twelfth Night through to Shrove Tuesday. Fat Thursday, which for a club named after chocolate is close to a house holiday. Halloween, in a cellar that needs no help. And New Year's Eve, the biggest night of our year.

Each of these is worth booking well in advance. They are the dates that sell out first.

What We Do Not Do

We do not run a weekly rotation of invented themes, and the style stays elegant rather than costume-driven even on the nights that invite dressing up. On Halloween that means a stylish outfit works and full horror does not.

The dress code holds on themed nights exactly as it does on ordinary ones. It is the most common thing people assume will relax, and it does not.

Checking What Is On

Programmes vary through the year and specific arrangements for a given date are best confirmed directly. Call +48 534 506 899 and ask what is planned for the night you have in mind.

That is more reliable than any page can be, since the answer changes and a website does not always keep up.

Frequently asked questions

Which nights are treated specially?

Andrzejki on 29 November, carnival season from January to Shrove Tuesday, Fat Thursday, Halloween and New Year's Eve are the main ones in our calendar.

Do you run weekly themed nights?

No. We work with the dates that already carry their own atmosphere rather than inventing a rotation of themes.

Can we come in costume on Halloween?

In keeping with the dress code, yes. A stylish costume fits the room; full horror outfits and anything covering the face do not.

Does the dress code relax on themed nights?

No. It applies exactly as on any other night, which catches people out more on these dates than on ordinary ones.

How do I find out what is on?

Call +48 534 506 899 and ask about the specific date. Programmes vary and a phone call is the most reliable answer.
