What Counts as Identification
A passport, national identity card or driving licence with a photograph. For visitors from outside Poland, a passport is the most reliable document to carry.
Photographs of documents on a phone are not identification and will not be accepted. This catches people out regularly, particularly visitors who have left the passport at the hotel.
Why It Is Enforced Strictly
