Promotions get celebrated badly. The standard version is a quick round at whatever bar is nearest the office, at which roughly half the team is checking the time by nine. The occasion gets acknowledged rather than marked, and then everyone goes home.
White Chocolate offers a straightforward upgrade. A private salon in a vaulted cellar under the Old Town, white leather and warm gold light, a bar with genuine ambition, and no requirement to shout over anyone. It reads as a real celebration rather than an obligation discharged.
Small Group, Proper Evening
Most promotion celebrations are small - the close team, a few friends, sometimes just a partner. That size works well here. A smaller salon gives four to eight people their own space without feeling cavernous, and the evening stays conversational.
It also means the person being celebrated actually gets to talk to everyone, which in a crowded bar almost never happens.
The Register Is Right
A promotion sits somewhere between a professional milestone and a personal one, and the venue should reflect that. Somewhere too casual undersells it. Somewhere too formal makes it feel like a work function. A discreet, well-dressed cellar bar lands neatly in between.
Any Night of the Week
Promotions rarely arrive conveniently on a Friday. We are open nightly from 20:00, and our Thursday hours run to 04:00, which covers most midweek celebrations comfortably.
Midweek is also the easiest time to secure a salon at short notice, which suits news that tends to arrive without much warning.
Frequently asked questions
Is this suitable for a small group of four or five?
Yes. We have six salons of varying sizes, including smaller rooms that suit four to eight people well without feeling empty.
Can we book at short notice?
Midweek, usually yes. Call and we will tell you honestly what we have. Weekends are harder and worth arranging a few days ahead.
Is it appropriate for a work group?
Very much so. It is a smart, discreet venue rather than a loud one, which suits a mixed group of colleagues. The dress code is smart, so office clothes are ideal.
How late are you open midweek?
From 20:00 nightly. Sunday to Wednesday we close at 03:00 and Thursday at 04:00, so a midweek celebration has plenty of room.
Where are you?
ul. Św. Tomasza 16, 31-183 Kraków, Old Town, close to the Main Market Square. A discreet entrance and stone stairs down to the cellar. 18+.
