ICE Kraków sits on the southern bank of the Vistula near Rondo Grunwaldzkie, directly across the river from Wawel. Getting Across the River
From ICE it is a short taxi ride across the Vistula and up into the Old Town. Walking is possible for the energetic - past Wawel and up Grodzka - and takes somewhere around twenty to twenty-five minutes at a reasonable pace.
